My nephew is in a band. We were out shopping the other day and he wanted to go in the music store to look at Maxon pedals. So you know I'm with it I do know what a Maxon pedal is. We shopped and he looked, and shuffled, and hemmed and hawed about what to buy. Actually it was soo cute. He would kill me if he knew I said that. Finally he made a decision and spent some of his hard earned money. I was very impressed with him.

My hubby has all kinds of motors and stuff in his garage. It is so full it's overflowing. He came and told me yesterday that he needs a three phase motor. What for is my question and he goes into a long tirade that I don't understand and ends with I just need it. Really? My response is say something I understand. Finally I just conceded and said buy it. It's better than having to listen to all that technical crap again.

Fixing the Green House

We are fixing up an old green house and we need to buy some new misting systems. This should be so cool when we get it finished and my husband will be thrilled. I like to garden but he's over the moon to garden and raise things. Nothing like indulging our inner gardener. It's like having our own little working zen garden. Ohmmmmmmm!!

I am looking for a new barcode scanner. I wore out the last one so now I'm on the hunt. I came across a posguys barcode scanner. Now I have to get my husband to take time to look at it. He's been remodeling the house and trying to get him to stop for anything is pretty hard. On the good side he has remodeled almost every room in the house so hopefully he'll be available soon.

Learning a New Western Dance

My hubby and I are trying to learn some new western dances. We've been taking lessons and now I'm finally ready to make the big step. Yep, you guessed it I'm ready to buy western boots. I have to justify spending the money, but I can if taking the lessons get my husband to take me out dancing. I'd buy two pair if I could get him to take me out dancing two times a week. You know what I mean whatever works!

My uncle is elderly and I've been helping watch him. We went to the doctors last week and they told him he needed to wear compression stockings. They recommended jobst compression stockings but my uncle is soooo stubborn. I mean he just refuses to wear them. Finally, I called his son who doesn't live here and he said I'll be there this last weekend. He was here and he finally, finally was able to get my uncle into wearing the stockings. Thank God!!

My hubby and I are trying to watch our money. So I was surprised he came to me and said he wants a new guitar and has been looking at PRS Guitars. Really? Are you serious? Is it necessary? Well, he says it is. I can see it since he does play in a band so he does earn money from his guitar. It's just we had other things we really needed to take care of. My thoughts are OK this time, but next time give a girl a little more warning would ya?

I ran into a friend I've known for years and haven't seen for years. We kind of lost track of each other. She is always having trouble. Guess what I haven't spoken to her in years and her life is still in upheaval. Honestly, how do people live like that? I like peace in my life no upheaval. All I can say is I was glad to find out she doesn't live here anymore and was just hear visiting. Hopefully it will be another several years.

My boss said it was my job to buy ph meters. So here I am doing research on which ones are the best. Searching the Internet, calling companies and just trying to figure it out. I don't mind doing the research I just wish I knew the best place to purchase them. So now it's down to checking prices. Seeing about a discount. Finding out if the make bulk deals, and all the things that go into making a big purchase. Wish me luck!

I'm at work today and my boss said we have a new toy. I'm thinking a new updated computer, or a iPad oh yeah that would be great, or even a new printer. Nope, it's a mettler balance. I have to admit it is a cool piece of equipment but my first reaction was a What?? The problem is anytime we get a new piece of equipment my boss instead of reading the manual he looks at me and says figure out how it works. So now I'm reading the manual, but at least I get to play with it for awhile.

I Found Something Great For My Skin

I found something by accident that's great for my skin. It's called Cleopatra's Choice Argan oil. I'm not sure how it works but it really has helped my skin. It says that it's from the Argan tree. I use it on my dry spots especially and it really helps moisturize them. It works especially well on my elbows which are sometimes dry in spots. I didn't realize how much I hated the dry places on my skin until I started see them looking better. So finding this oil was a win win for me!

I have been looking on the Internet for the past few days looking at computer carts. I have got to get another one. I just never have enough room so it will come in handy. What is it with never having enough room in your office? My office stuff expands and my room size stays the same. I need to get rid of some items but overall I use most of what I have so I guess it'll have to be a computer cart.

Putting up a New Pool Fence

We had a really bad storm here a few weeks ago. It knocked down the tree in our backyard and took out the pool fence. So yep we have to replace it. There's so many rules about above ground pools anymore maybe it would be better to just put the pool in the ground and be done with it. Anyway, I don't remember having to deal with this when we put up the first fence. Hopefully now that the tree is down we won't have to replace it again for awhile.

Yep, I'm a yoyo. They have ton's of yoyo's available so my collection is growing. I told my husband I could be smoking or drinking so I guess playing with yoyo's isn't so bad in the scheme of things. He just shakes his head and goes in the other room. My thoughts are each to their own.

I am sooo tired of dropping a call! Arggghhhh!!! I've decided I need a wilson cell booster canada. Anything to get my phone calls!! Cell phones should be a convenience not a hassle. I need to get it corrected. My mother actually called me back today when the called dropped and hollered at me. I don't know about you but I don't have control over cellphone signals. When I have that ability then she can holler at me.

Did anyone else see the footage of the tornado in Dallas-Ft Worth? I have never seen a flying semi trailer but that tornado threw those semi trailers around like they were pieces of paper. They were flying and I mean high in the air. There was also another semi trailer on a highway that was flat. I mean FLAT! I am sooo glad I don't live there today!

I have always wanted a double chaise lounge and my husband finally agreed. So I get to go shopping!!!! I am a typical woman I love to shop. There is nothing better than buying new clothes or new furniture. I'll use it some but I'm sure my cats will use it the most. The important thing is I get to go shopping and trust me there's nothing better than that!!
