Poor Mom is Now in the Nursing Home

I was so sad to have to put my mom in a nursing home. She's having a lot of trouble with incontinence. We had to buy tons of urinary incontinence products and it was just becoming too much for her. She decided that she really needed help and wanted it to be available. She's already made tons of friends and when I visited yesterday she was playing bingo! Maybe this won't be such a bad thing after all. So far she's happy, I hope she stays that way!

Tom Cruise Playing a Rock Star?

I just saw a trailer for Adam Shankman's "Rock of Ages" movie where Tom Cruise plays a rock star. Are you kidding me? Crazy maybe but rock star NO. I couldn't watch the movie because I could never believe Tom Cruise as a rock star. It just doesn't work. Nope

Everyone Needs An Accountant These Days

I've decided everyone needs an accountant these days. So now I'm on the hunt for accountant raleigh nc. I don't want just any accountant but one that I can actually understand what they're talking about! My taxes are a mess and every year it's crazy to get the papers together correctly. This year hopefully with the help of an accountant I'll be able to get the taxes done before April 15th!

Looking at Housing for Seniors for Hubby's Mom

We've been looking at Housing for seniors for my husbands mother. We've finally been able to find a nice little apartment that's with in her Social Security budget. It's so cute and new! New fixtures, appliances, paint, the works! She's excited to move in. It's nice that they have senior housing so seniors can keep their independence and enjoy their lives in their senior years.

Ghost Rider 2 Coming Out in February 2012

Ghost Rider: Spirit of VengeanceImage via WikipediaI was excited to read today that Ghost Rider 2 is coming out in February. I loved the first movie and the second looks even better. Nicholas Cage is one of my favorite actors, and he's so versatile that he can play any type of character. Well now I'm counting the days!

With only a few days until Christmas I have all my fingers crossed for snowboard gear. You guessed it I like to snowboard. I hate bad weather and I'm not even fond of snow but I do love snowboarding. Yes, I know it doesn't make sense but there it is. I know, I know it's dangerous but it's also an incredible high. So now i just have to hope I've been good enough so Santa will bring me what I want!

Snow, Snow, and More Snow!

English: Snow on the mountains of Southern Cal...Image via WikipediaI live in Kansas and it's been snowing here all day. I was born here, but really don't like winters in Kansas. The icky weather, the intense heat if I had my way I'd move to Texas or California, but my husband disagrees, wouldn't you just know it. Well, at least I can dream of warmth or lay under a sun lamp.

RV Needs Repaired at Christmas!

We were going to my husbands family for Christmas until we found out the RV isn't running properly. Now we have to pay for rv repair along with buying Christmas presents!  Geez, I hate when this kind of thing happens at Christmas. Just what I need is one more bill. Oh well, I guess I'll count my blessings instead of grumbling because I have lots to be thankful for. How about you?

What Are You Grateful For? Reflecting at Christmas

I've been reflecting on what I'm grateful for this past year. I don't know I just seem to get nostalgic this time of year. I'm grateful for my husband, my cats, my family, my friends. The different changes that have happened in my life this year, and all the wonderful events. In general, I'm just grateful. I'm a lucky person and very lucky to have everything I got. Thank you God for everything.

Looking Here, Looking There, Looking Everywhere!

I've decided I would rather search the Internet than go Christmas Shopping. Just saying. I was at Walmart today and the people are crazy. Yep, you heard me say it. THEY ARE CRAZY! I about got ran over by a shopping cart more than once. So I have firmly decided to shop at home. The great thing about browsing the Internet is that I run across things you don't expect to find. Today I was on facebook and found triangle direct. I always love looking at different facebook pages and this was no different. Anyway enough straying back to shopping!
