Laid off too, Crap!

Yep, you guessed it I have been laid off, and all I can say is crap! It is very irritating to be back at square one. So now what do I do? Can you still go back to school with the help of the government? I'm depressed as hell and just plain irritated. There has got to be a way to hold the people responsible for starting this recession to pay for their actions don't you think?

Shopping Bargains Galore!

I went shopping today and found all kinds of bargains. I found a really nice coat for $25. I found MP3 players for really cheap. Now if I could just find a couple of good, cheap DVD portable players. Is anyone else finding that the sales are really good this year? Tell me what you are finding.

San Francisco and Bay Area Earthquake Today

Today there was a 4.1 earthquake today in California in the San Francisco and the Bay area. It only lasted for a few seconds. I personally have never felt an earthquake so one of any size would freak me out. We have tornadoes they have earthquakes. I'm really not sure whose is worse. I hope worse one's aren't on the way. I will keep my fingers crossed for you California.

Remodeling in the Art Deco Style

I have been doing some research to see what I can do to remodel my living room in the Art Deco style. My problem is I want some of the more modern amenities. I want a couple of ceiling fans. I think I would really like to find ones that have a real Art Deco feel to them. The problem is I haven't been able to find any here. Does anyone know of a website that sells these?

Casey Johnson Found Dead

Casey Johnson was found dead Monday morning in Los Angeles. She was the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune. She was 30 years old and was the fiancee to reality star Tila Tequila. Casey Johnson was also a mother to a three year old named Ava. My condolences to the Johnson family.

Remodeling, Remodeling, Remodeling

We are now getting ready to remodel the bathroom. I am trying to see what styles of copper sinks there are. I love the look of copper and I think with the new fixtures in the bathroom a copper sink will look really nice. The things I haven't researched yet is the cost. Are they hard to clean? Do they last well? Now you know my project for the next few days.

Learning to Write

I am trying to decide whether learning to write is what I want to do. I want to do more but how do I find what the real thing for me is? Is there ways to figure it out? I feel really blocked sometimes when trying to process thru this. How can so many people know what they want and I don't have a clue? Am I blocked or is this normal? Is there a process to this? Does anyone know?
