Medical Assistant School or Not?
I have been looking at medical assistant school and also have been calling different schools. The problem is I'm having trouble deciding between being a certified medical assistant and a career in medical coding. I think I've narrowed it down to a medical assistant job that I'll want, but who knows. It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind!

If you do decide to go to school for medical assisting, make sure its program is accredited through either CAAHEP or ABHES. It will make certification quicker and easier if you want to acquire one of the medical assisting credentials.
