Electronic cigarettes? What will they think of next?

I read about electronic cigarettes today and now I have heard of everything. I guess it could come in handy if you are looking for an easy way to smoke. I'm just kind of shocked because that is the last thing I would think could be made electronic. Now my question is how do they really do it? It has to be a very intelligent set up. I don't smoke, but I think I would really like to see how one works.

Black Friday was a Pain! Especially KOHLS!

My thoughts of Black Friday is that it was a pain in the butt. My sister invited me to go, but I have decided I am going to skip it next year unless they have a completely fabulous buy. The worst store to shop in was by far KOHLS! They didn't have enough checkout lines and there set up was really bad. When it takes you longer to get thru KOHLS than it did Walmart and Walmart had a ton more people than KOHLS had then it was really awful. So next year I will skip them COMPLETELY!

I want the Best Weight Loss Pills!

I have to lose some weight. My friend is trying to lose weight too, and she bought some over the counter appetite suppressant pills. The problem is they are made from herbs. I have trouble with some herbs so I am hesitant to try the kind she has. I think I just need to research which are the best weight loss pills. I know everyone one has a different opinion so does anyone know of a website that compares them? If you do please let me know.

I need a Cheaper Car Insurance!

I am sooo tired of my car insurance going up. It seems like it goes up at least every six months. The problem is I haven't had an accident in a long time, and I haven't gotten any tickets so why does it keep going up?? I personally am getting really sick of it. I have decided to look online for a cheaper car insurance. I have checked some sites, but I really don't know which would be the best. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you get lost with a GPS?

My sister and I went to Kansas City the other day and she has a brand new gps. Problem is I'm just not sure we knew how to operate it. We were in a new section of town and just couldn't get it to work right or we just weren't operating it right. I honestly think the last was the truth. We finally gave up and used the KC map. When we got back we were right there was a problem with the gps and she had to take it back and exchange it for a different one.

eBay Search NOT WORKING!

What the heck is going on with eBay? Their search is down. No matter what you put in the search it says there aren't any. Which is impossible right? I mean eBay is so perfect right? I don't know what is going on, but even though they aren't my favorite people it is a great place to get cheap books!

What the Heck! Disability Denied!

My sister was severely injured in a car accident 2 years ago. Because of this accident she has disabilities that she will ALWAYS have. She filed for disability thru the government and guess what she was turned down can you believe it! I told her to get a disability appeal. So she has filed the paperwork to appeal their decision. Why would they turn down someone who is so evidently disabled? She has all the medical documentation to prove her disability what do they want her first born too?

Army Suicides set another yearly record? What is wrong with this picture?

I was amazed to read today that Army Suicides have set another yearly record. The total is above last year. Man this is really sad. They supposedly have programs to reduce this problem. Looks to me like the programs aren't working. Come on Army these people are first and foremost human. Maybe you need to remember that and treat them as such.

Life Insurance Which is the Best?

OK everyone I need a good and inexpensive life insurance lead. Who has the best prices? Who is most reliable? Who has the most coverage for the money? I have been looking online, but there are a million companies out there. How do you know who you can trust? All suggestions would be appreciated.

Art Deco is my Thing!

Since I have been dealing in collectibles and antiques I have acquired a real love for art deco. I love the designs and the architecture as well as the clothing. I have been trying to collect some of these things but they are usually expensive and hard to get on eBay unless you have a TON of money. Well anyway I just acquired a very cool art deco print. I am hoping when my husband re does the living this winter he will do it in a art deco design. Here's keeping my fingers crossed!

American Standard Sink - Who Knew!

My friend Mindy is having her bathroom remodeled. She called me yesterday to go shopping with her. She said the contractor told her to go buy her sink for the bathroom, but to make sure it was an American Standard sink. OK, now what exactly is an American Standard Sink? She said she was too embarrassed to ask him what he meant so we spent all afternoon going from one home improvement store to another looking at sinks. Finally we went back to and asked him what he meant. Well duh, it's not a kind of sink, but a brand of sink! Boy did we feel stupid!

CMA Awards Tonight!

If you are a fan of the CMA Awards it is on tonight. My husband watches it every year, but since I'm not a great fan of country music I don't usually watch it. I'm not sure who's up for awards, but all I can say is GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Looking at Manufactured Homes

Bryan's mom decided she wanted to buy a new manufactured home. Hers is from the 1970's so yes I guess she does need one. They are making them so nice nowadays. They are made really sturdy and they make sure it has lots of insulation. I actually was impressed. The cabinets were well made as were the bathrooms and walls. I think that if she finds one she likes that it would be a great buy for her.

Ghost Hunters Offering a School Now?

I saw that tonight Tango and Steve are going to teach people about hunting ghosts. Yawn, BORING! I watch to see the ghost hunts not to watch them teach people how to do it. I understand why they do this but do they have to put it on TV? Surely, they can come up with something better than this.

Time to get Surveillance Equipment!

I was talking with Laura and she said that she had a trombone stolen from her antique store. Now how the heck do you hide a trombone? I told her that she really needs to get some video surveillance equipment. She finally agreed that she was going to have to do something. Now myself I would have had the surveillance equipment when I opened the store not 3 years later. I bet she has had tons of things walk off she just hasn't realized it.

I love designing online!

I found a couple of great websites online that I can design lamp shades and even website templates. I love to be able to mix the colors and come up with different shades and mixes. I never knew that I would like doing this, so now I have to figure where to go with it. At 54 I'm not sure where I would go to advance this skill without spending 4 years in school. Does anyone have any ideas?

I need a Good Secure Online Backup

I've decided I need to get a secure online backup. I mean you never know when your computer is going to crash. It worries me sometimes so I decided to take the plunge. I like knowing that my info is safe and if I need it for upload if something happens to my computer I can do it. Who actually has the best prices though? It is kind of a toss up I think, but if anyone has a suggestion I'm all ears.

Great Deal at Walmart on Turkey Yesterday!

My sister and I went shopping at Walmart yesterday and you wouldn't believe that they had Butterball turkeys for 60 cents a lb! They also had another brand of turkey 40 cents a pound. Can you imagine? Yep, you guessed it I snagged two turkeys!

Black Fridays Sales? It's TOO SOON!

I went shopping today and I can't believe that they have started Black Friday Sales. It is driving me crazy. I really haven't seen any great sales either. Are they trying to get us to spend money? Well, then actually have a sale on something we need. I did get some Christmas presents along with a acne treatment but, none of the presents were any of the advertised sales.

I Already Have 5 Christmas Presents Bought!

Man am I good this year. Usually I'm up to the last moment buying Christmas presents. I want you to know that I already have 5 Christmas presents bought. Yep, count them 5. That's incredible for me. I bought three of my nieces presents, my mother in-laws present and another smaller present for my other niece. I can only hope that the rest of the holiday season goes as well.

Christmas Photo Cards - To or Not To?

I'm trying to decide whether to have christmas photo cards made this year or not. They are really cute but this year is sooo busy! Trying to get the time to get the right photo picked out and have them made just seems like one more thing. Well, I am just going to have to woman up and do this. It's a wonderful way to keep the family in touch with photos.

Michael Jackson "This Is It"

I really hate to see that Michael Jackson's family is going to send him in the same direction as Elvis Presley. He has been dead that long and they have already put together a movie about him. Who profits from this movie? I really hope it's his kids. It's a shame that when people get famous and then die their families exploit them instead of letting them rest in peace. Rest in Peace Michael.
